I think the tables were missing something. I mean they had the little watermelon fruit wagon and the animal shaped sweet bread. But I think the cherry on top would have been the swan apple.
...I coulda made a GOOD one!! :)

What is the yellow sash for? I see a few people wearing those in the mess hall...

Those are reflective vests/belts. We have to wear them at night so we don't get run over by convoys...no street lights here

Tim, we miss you back here in the Cities. Glad you found some time for a little turkey. You should know things haven't changed too much around here. Biggest worry last few weeks was when I almost lost one of my buds during hunting. I recognized the signs of the start of a heart attack and go him into the hospital in the nick of time.

We're about to get a few days of snow here. Could be 5-8 by Wednesday but you never know. Just think, no shovelling for you.
